The Space shuttle Discovery and its crew of seven lifts off from Launch Pad 39B Tuesday at the Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral, Fla. The Mission for STS-114 is scheduled to last for 12 days, and will include docking with the international space station. The crew will deliver supplies to the space station and test new techniques for inspecting and patching the shuttle in orbit. Two chase planes and more than 100 cameras documented its launch from every possible angle to capture any sign of flying debris, as the launch of Discovery is the first launch since the Columbia disaster two and a half years ago.
