Dear Santa

You would think that after having made it to college, students would find themselves in possession of some level of self-sufficiency. Well, at least relatively speaking. We're not as helpless as we were in our youth - most of us anyway. Food? If you search hard enough, there's always a way to find free food on campus. Friends? Just look around at the other 40,000 kids swarming the place. Or for you, who are not so swift of foot, just use Facebook. Money? Donate some plasma. Transportation, books? Not a problem. All are within your grasp.

However, some things just don't come as easily, or cheaply. So who do students turn to this time of year for such needs and wants? No, not the folks. Students need a far less discerning source. A source who has been proven to deliver. A source who's punctuality is renowned. A source whom for all his speed, timeliness, adaptability, and general know-how, still succumbs to milk and cookies. That's right, I'm talking about Shawn Kemp. But seriously, Santa Clause is the man on every student's mind!

Dear Santa,

I know what you're thinking, I am going to ask for good grades or a trip to the Bahamas for Christmas. Those things would be nice, but I would really like my favorite team, the Pittsburgh Steelers to win Super Bowl XL. I know it's only been 25 years since the Steelers last won a Super Bowl, but think how many Steeler fans across this great campus would have the best Christmas knowing that a Super Bowl title was not that far off. The Dallas Cowboys may be "America's Team," but show Texas A&M who the North Pole cheers for when football season comes around.

P.S. I know Bill Cowher never seems to smile, but he is a lot nicer in person.

Dear Mr. S,

I have been a good boy this year. I haven't fought with my brothers or talked back to my parents. I want a red rider bb gun. Watched that movie yesterday…

This is what I really want for Christmas:
