Members of the Texas A&M Ross Volunteer Company will march in the annual Mardi Gras King Rex Parade on Tuesday in New Orleans.

This year marks the 55th year the Ross Volunteers have led the King Rex Parade; the main event parade of Mardi Gras Day. A&M's Ross Volunteer Company, organized in 1887, serves as the official honor guard for the governor of the state of Texas. It is the oldest student organization in the state and marches in many parades and other events across the state.
