The "Road to the White House" is making a pit stop on Texas A&M's campus today.

Participation from A&M student organizations such as the Student Government Association, Aggie Democrats and College Republicans is welcome along with anyone else who is interested.

The bus is restricted to groups of no more than 14 on the bus at one time. Students and teachers will be able to tour the 45-foot bus, and buss staff will be available for questions.

The tour of the bus will be free of charge and will include 20-minute interactive demonstrations on topics including C-SPAN programming, media literacy skills and the 2008 presidential cycle. There is also a tour of the state-of-the-art studio, which is built into the bus.

The C-SPAN Campaign 2008 is filming the "Road to the White House" documentary over the next two years as it travels through 48 state capitals. The bus will travel to major political events, covering the candidate debates and speeches.
