Cham speaks at Research Week

The 10th Annual Student Research Week, hosted by the Graduate Student Council, is this week. Jorge Cham, former instructor and researcher at the California Institute of Technology, will speak 4 p.m. Friday at the closing ceremonies in the Memorial Student Center. Cham is the author of the comic strip "PhD: Piled Higher and Deeper," about life in academia. He will give a speech using humor to talk about his research experiences and give advice to students. Cham will meet with students afterwards at a reception.
