Cargill assists CVM school

The College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (CVM) signed an educational alliance with Cargill/ Nutrena Inc. Tuesday.
Angela G. Clendenin, CVM's director of communications and public relations, said this partnership will provide feed for the large animal clinic, a faculty award, financial support for at least one veterinary student and many educational benefits.
"Cargill/Nutrena Inc. is pleased to assist in advancing the programs and educational opportunities for veterinary medical students at Texas A&M University," said John Windwehen, South Texas general manager, in a news release.
"We're very excited. Cargill has been a friend of the College of Veterinary Medicine for a long time," Clendenin said.
The company is as an international provider of food, agricultural and risk management products and services.
