Shame on The Battalion
By: Travis P. Krause
Issue date: 9/21/07 Section: Mail Call
The article published on Wednesday, "Hippies, whores, militant lesbians, oh my!" was written out of complete disrespect for others. I am ashamed of The Battalion for publishing such an article.
Albert Einstein once wrote, "Heroism on command, senseless violence, and all the loathsome nonsense that goes by the name of patriotism - how passionately I hate them! How vile and despicable war seems to me!... It would have disappeared long ago, had the sound sense of the people not been systematically corrupted by commercial and political interest." Perhaps we should all listen to history a little more closely.
