Vick 'Em shirts outrage Aggies

But the point of the shirt, Candia said, is to promote the rivalry. "Honestly, people either extremely hate it or really love it," Candia said. "It comes down to either people take it seriously, they think that we're advocating Michael Vick's actions, or people understand that it's just a shirt, it's fun and games."
Officials at Texas Tech denied university involvement with the shirt's design or promotion.
"The president and vice president are meeting in the morning, and it is my understanding that we are not going to allow him to sell those shirts on campus. We have nothing to do with that shirt and don't condone the message," said Sally Post, Tech's director of media relations.
Some officials at the school condemned the shirts.
"The shirt does not reflect the thoughts of the university or the athletic department, and it does not reflect an image we want to portray," said Assistant Athletic Director Chris Cook. "You see T-shirts all around poking fun at other schools, but this T-shirt is absolutely despicable," he added.
A printing company in Lubbock, the same one that prints "Tuck Fexas" shirts for Texas Tech fans, is printing the shirts, Candia said.
"Originally, I pictured us selling more than 500 before the game," he said. "As of right now, 300 have sold out and we're just waiting on the company to print more."
