President George H. W. Bush will introduce his granddaughter Jenna Bush as the featured speaker for the Bank of America Program on Volunteerism Monday evening.

Organizers described the program as "an effort to educate individuals and corporations on the importance of volunteer activities in today's modern society."

Jenna Bush was chosen to be the featured speaker because of her work with UNICEF. She will also speak about her recent book, "Ana's Story: a Journey of Hope," a novel about a girl with AIDS whom Jenna met while working with UNICEF in Panama.

The George Bush Presidential Library is sponsoring the event, opening up the Annenberg Presidential Conference Center for the program. The Annenberg Presidential Conference Center is part of the George Bush Presidential Library.

The program will begin at 5:30 p.m. It is a ticketed event, and security will be present. Free tickets can be obtained by students at the Texas A&M University MSC Box Office.

Attendees are requested not to bring backpacks, bags, cameras or other personal belongings. The speech is part of a continuing series presented by Bank of America and the George Bush Presidential Library.
