"We're just trying so hard to win and make something happen," Keller said. "We all play together and we felt good coming in to this one and there's not much you can say really."

The Aggie defense held their opponent to 14 points or less for the fourth time this season. The game marked the second time Texas A&M has come back from a loss to score at least 30 points on their next opponent.

"We had a great week of practice," said senior linebacker Mark Dodge. "I really think we won that game [against Nebraska] on Tuesday. We came out with a different attitude after last week. We just kind of came out and played."

Texas A&M is 6-0 when the Aggies finish the game with the turnover advantage. Nebraska turned the ball over three times on three fumbles compared to A&M's zero turnovers.

"We have been pretty good at taking care of the football, and we did that again today," said A&M Head Coach Dennis Franchione. "When you can get three or four and not give up any then you've got a good chance to win most games."

The win moves A&M to 6-2 and 2-1 in the Big 12. The six wins make the Aggies eligible for a bowl game.

Well another victory comes as no surprise since Nebraska is another week team in Big 12. As usual A & M utilized at least three plays Mcgee and Lane. (Continued…)

Is it just me, or does anyone else see something wrong with a quarterback leading the team in rushing when you have two of the best running backs in the nation? I thought McGee was brought to TAMU to throw the ball, but it's painfully obvious he does not possess that ability. (Continued…)

And now we play the RANKED teams. McGee rushed 35 times for 167 yards and Goodson rushed for 32 yards. What we did to Nebraska, then ranked the 109th total defense in the country, is what Coach Fran was paid to do against Miami, Fresno State, OSU, UT and OU. (Continued…)

Kansas was considered lowest team in the east like Baylor is to the west. Look at them now full grown and rearing to go. A & M has there work cut out for them for the week end game. (Continued…)

My concern is that we have no defensive secondary, but why should I be surprised, we haven't had one since 1976. If we want to win against the big boys then we had better learn how to stop the pass. (Continued…)

Very classy act by your head coach going for 2 with 4 minutes left in the game.

if you think we aren't throwing enough, ask the 1970-1999 Nebraska Cornhuskers if they threw it enough? Arguably the best team ever (1994-1995 team), this "offense" simply ran a few triple option and wishbone formations on offense and the occasional pass to keep the secondary honest. (Continued…)

Why can't ya'll just be happy for the team and be a TRUE Aggie. You know, yell "Farmer's Fight!" when our boys are backed up. Ever heard of true to each other as Aggies can be? What ever happened to The Spirit of Aggieland or The 12th Man. (Continued…)
