Introducing Haili's "Flavor of the Week." Bringing you the latest updates on fashion. Guiding you out of bed and into the latest trends. Whether on campus or out for the night, you'll be in style. I'll give you fashion tips to add a little flavor to your wardrobe.

This week's must

This spring, electric blue shades come into play for women's apparel on blouses, dresses and shoes. Spice up your wardrobe with an electric blue blouse with jeans and flats for school. Forever 21 has comfortable and affordable styles available at Gadzooks in Post Oak Mall.

Arrive fashionably late when going out with your girlfriends. Whether it's a night at the Chicken or hanging out with your friends at home, don't forget to arrive in fashion. You'll want some brightly colored pumps to go with that high-waisted skirt, paired with your dad's favorite vintage rock tee. The accessories will put the cherry on top. Tuck in your dad's vintage-rock tee, top that skirt off with a waist belt, and throw on those brightly colored pumps. Now we're talking.

This week's lust

1940s high-waisted, slim-fitting, dark denim jeans are dead on for this spring's fashion "do." Feel like splurging this week? Urban Outfitters' "Lux Hepburn & Tracy Trouser" takes the cake for high-waisted pants keeping it comfortable but still very fashionable. Pair it with a white tank top, a long necklace and flats. Wear boots over your dark denim skinny jeans with a vintage blouse.

Don't skirt your choices

BCBG Max Azria gives the "Boho" (bohemian) look a new feminine edge. Like Sienna Miller or Ashley Olsen's look? BCBG has your name all over it. Like the pencil skirt with suspenders look? Urban Outfitters has a new line of girlie skirts that go perfectly with your new kicks that you didn't know what to pair with for the winter. Try the "Lux Harlow Pencil Skirt," which is available online. Ladies - that all-black look you've been afraid of is in! It gives off a sophisticated and sleek feel and is the hottest look this spring. Combine a black turtleneck and high-waisted 1940s black pants with a belt that accentuates your waist, along with black boots. Perfect for any interviews you have this spring, and that goes for all white as well. Pull off the all-black look this spring in a sophisticated way by pairing a baggy yet feminine shirt over black leggings with knee-high black boots. Top this look off with a baggy black bag to put your books and belongings in.

Shop of the week

Charming Charlie is Flavor of the Week's shop of the week. You've probably heard of the low-priced jewelry sensation, one-stop shop. Be careful - once you go in you might be browsing for a few hours. Earrings usually run around $4. Go treat yourself. It doesn't hurt to splurge at Charming Charlie.

I love the upbeat feel of the article and the idea of a weekly addition of "flavor" to the batt! I don't typically pick up a paper copy of the batt, but if your article was/will be printed then I will definitely have to start!
