Texas A&M Head football Coach Mike Sherman made his coaching debut Saturday at the Maroon & White spring game. He became the Aggies' coach in November 2007, leaving the position of offensive coordinator for the Houston Texans.

Texas A&M Head football Coach Mike Sherman made his coaching debut Saturday at the Maroon & White spring game. He became the Aggies' coach in November 2007, leaving the position of offensive coordinator for the Houston Texans.

Freshman agricultural communications and journalism major Courtney Roland and junior communication major Joseph Delgado were selected to serve as honorary coaches in Saturday's Maroon and White Game. As a part of this accomplishment, they were able to attend select practices, stand in the coach's box during the spring game, and give their respective teams a pregame talk.

Immediately following the game Saturday night, the Texas A&M football team gave their jerseys to 109 lucky fans. After texting in their vote for the 12th Man, the fans were automatically entered into the drawing to receive a jersey.  After they received the jersey, the winners stayed on the field to sing the Aggie War Hymn with the team.
