Texas A&M is assisting with possible hurricane evacuations.

Transportation services will send five buses to the Texas A&M Corpus Christi campus Wednesday to evacuate up to 175 students, if necessary. A&M officials said students should be aware that there will be fewer buses on several routes, including 1, 3, 4 and 36. Students are encouraged to leave early or use alternative transportation Wednesday, Thursday and possibly Friday.
