Bonfire ceremony

Bonfire fell Nov. 18, 1999, claiming the lives of 12 Aggies and injuring 27. Each year, the week surrounding Nov. 18 is dedicated to Bonfire remembrance.
The families of those students lost that morning will lead a remembrance ceremony, which usually consists of singing songs such as Amazing Grace and the Spirit of Aggieland. The families will make their way to the center of the memorial as others gather around them to honor the fallen.
