"I thought it was a very proud moment for many people. It kind of showed how in any aspect of life, what people usually thought was unexpected or couldn't be done, pretty much if you just try, it can be done." Scarlett Kioutas, freshman, general studies.

"I believe that Obama is bringing a lot of change into the political system right now, and while I'm not sure how far that change will go or how he will use his power, I trust in him because the nation has given him that position. Many good things can come from this if he plays his cards right and if he does everything that he needs to do. He's promised a lot of good things, and if he can come through with those then I say all for it."Jordan Garcia , freshman,
classics.

1. Freshman general studies = idiot who couldn't get accepted into a real college.

2. He is going to do the right thing because the people voted him in? Did you know Hitler was voted in?

Let's play a game called "How long till the Batt closes out these comments".

You see that "Administration, groups resolve to grow in '09" article? I guess giving a little crumb to YCT at the end excuses the rest of the GLBT advertisement. (Continued…)

So far we have a comment that is a blatant ad hominem attack on a freshman based on his major that goes on to compare obama to hitler, what seems to be an angry and confused polemic taken directly from hannity or levin, a middle-school-angst declaration that a&m is full of "losers", a clever retort, and, finally . "like you mark "

That's what you consider a 'clever retort'?

Either way, at least someone else is playing the game.

How 'bout that article today about how awesome it is that A&M is so focused on admitting minority students to the school? Who gives a crap? Admit anyone who's qualified, ignore their race. (Continued…)
