The jerseys will be worn in conjunction with the Aggies' third annual Beat the Hell Outta Breast Cancer game that will also honor the passing of North Carolina State Head Coach Kay Yow.
"Kay was very special," said Texas A&M Head Coach Gary Blair. "We were in the Final Four together and are the old cats in the profession. She did everything with class. As coaches, that's who we envied, someone who didn't have a large ego and someone who gave back to the game. Even though she knew her time was short, she has already touched so many lives across the country with her testimony."
Organizers hope to pink-out Reed Arena with commemorative BTHO Breast Cancer pink T-shirts.
The Aggies are coming off a seven-point road loss to Texas Tech on Wednesday.
Texas A&M (18-5, 6-4) is in sixth place in the Big 12. With six games remaining in the 2008-2009 season, the Aggies trail leader Oklahoma by 3.5 games but are a half game behind Texas, Iowa State and Kansas State.
The Aggies will look to seniors Takia Starks and Danielle Gant to lead them past the Buffaloes. Starks and Gant average a combined 30 points per game.
If Starks and Gant struggle, Blair will look to his bench players to step up. Against Tech, Aggies' leading bench player sophomore Tanisha Smith went 1-for-8 from the field. The guard is the Aggies' third leading-scorer with 8.4 points per game.
Statistically, Colorado (10-11, 2-7) is one of the worst teams in the Big 12. The Buffaloes are last in the conference in scoring, points allowed and rebounding. They are also the only Big 12 team that has been outscored by their opponents this season.
Colorado will look to sophomore Brittany Spears, who leads the team in scoring, rebounding and free throw percentage. Spears is third in the Big 12 in points, averaging 17.6 per game.
