Men fall 72-68 at Baylor

WACO, Texas- Senior forward Josh Carter scored a game-high 20 points in Texas A&M's 72-68 road loss to Baylor on Saturday.

After trailing 40-28 at halftime, the Aggies fought back to within two points of the Bears at 70-68 with 44 seconds in the game. However A&M failed to tie the game in the final seconds, splitting the season series against Baylor.

Tempers flared between the two in-state rivals after the game, but the Bears left the court with the win.

Senior Curtis Jerrells and junior Tweety Carter led the Bears with 14 points each.

The Aggies had four players score double digit points. After Carter's 20, junior forward Bryan Davis, junior guard Donald Roland, junior guard Donald Sloan each scored 13 points.

Though A&M out rebounded the Bears 35-24, Baylor shot 56.3 percent from the field. The Bears shut down the Aggies' offense, holding it to 40.7 percent from the field.

A&M will return to the court on Monday to take on in-state rival Texas at home as a part of ESPN's Big Monday.
