Men lose to Baylor despite Carter's play
The men's basketball team lost 72-68 at Baylor on Saturday. Senior Josh Carter led the Aggies with a game-high 20 points but the team could not find an answer for Baylor senior Curtis Jerrells and junior Tweety Carter, who scored 14 points each.

Smith breaks own record as A&M beats CU
Junior guard Tanisha Smith recorded her first career double-double in the women's basketball team's 79-50 win against Colorado on Saturday. Coming off the bench, Smith scored a team-high 15 points and pulled down a career-high 10 rebounds. The game marked the third annual Beat the Hell Outta Breast Cancer game and almost 4,500 fans helped pink-out Reed Arena with pink T-shirts.

Softball loses 4 games in tournament
After defeating Sam Houston State 8-3 on Friday, the softball team dropped four consecutive games to Ohio State and No. 21 Louisiana State. The Aggies played two games each on Saturday and Sunday, one a piece against Ohio State and LSU. In the two games against the Buckeyes, the team lost 9-3 and 2-0. In the game against the Tigers, the Aggies lost 6-5 in extra innings and 4-3.
