Everybody wants to be a cat

Issue date: 2/24/09 Section: News
The Aggie Feral Cat Alliance of Texas is a group of students, staff and faculty who volunteer to help care for wild or 'feral' cats living on the Texas A&M campus. AFCAT provides feeding stations, treatment of diseases, spaying/neutering for the cats and education for the public on pet ownership and adoption. This cat, named Bisbee, resides near the Biological Sciences Building East, from which he draws his name, and is a part of the AFCAT project. A sign posted near where Bisbee can often be found describes how over the past few years the cat has become more open to human affection and on any given day many passers-by stop to pet Bisbee.
