In response to the Aggie Assurance mail call on Feb. 19:

Albert Einstein once said, "Many times a day I realize how much my outer and inner life is built upon the labors of my fellow-men, both living and dead." I do wonder if Mr. Cunningham finds the clothes on his back, the house he grew up in and the food on his plate to be worthless and menial. What about the teachers, nurses, police, airmen, soldiers, sailors, marines and firefighters who often make below $55,000 a year? I can guarantee you that many who fill these jobs are college educated. Jobs that are necessary for our existence are anything but menial and worthless. My degree does lose worth every time this University produces a graduate who takes with them such an arrogant attitude as Mr. Cunninghan, and I do think that it is worth looking into making a civics course mandatory for all students.
