Hang in there, senior; it's almost over.

This week marks the halfway point in graduating seniors' last semester; the finish line is in sight. Senioritis may have you by the ear, but you're too close to graduation to give up now.

Here are a few tips to help reach May alive and still be (somewhat) studious:

Keep a calendar somewhere. It would be a shame to miss a test and fail a course at the end. Stay organized so you don't have to stay for summer school.

Listen to Journey and remember: Don't Stop Believin.'

Watch Bret Michaels' "Rock of Love Bus." If you think you have big problems with college, the people on this show will make you feel much better about yourself. Plus, the train wrecks are just too much fun to miss.

Go to class…every day [gasp]. Yes, it seems unnecessary at times, but in a few short months, you will be employed by a boss who won't like you sleeping in because you're nursing a hangover. Establish good habits now and you'll thank yourself later.

Work out at the Recreation Center If you planned this out right, you're not taking a full load, so why not? You're paying for it anyway, and working out has been proven to release endorphins that help ease stress from your day-to-day life.

Form a band. Every cool character on every good sitcom had a band in college, so don't miss the chance. This won't do much to help you graduate, but later on in life, you can tell stories that start with, "I remember back with my band in college..."

When you have spare time on campus, use your prepaid printouts. Like it or not, you paid for several hundred pages of on-campus printouts this semester, so you might as well use them for something. Instead of worrying about midterms or catching happy hour before class, go to the lab and print out fliers for your new band.

Before you graduate, go to the corner of the Memorial Student Center that faces Simpson Drill Field. On brick pillars, there are seven plaques with medals inside them. Read the stories under the glass of each one. If that doesn't inspire you to do something worthwhile with your life, nothing will.

Finally, take it easy. You're almost done, so relax. Do what you need to make the grade and enjoy college the rest of the time. Make these last months at Texas A&M the best, and do the things you always said you would.
