The reason the abortion exhibit was inappropriate is because abortion is inappropriate. If someone is offended by this exhibit they are offended by the act of abortion and should be anti-abortion. I am also a future educator because I believe in the well being of all children and I want to teach them to be responsible members of society. I agree they should not have seen the display. However, this is a college campus so it is fitting that an exhibit be aimed at such a demographic. The schools should have been informed and the tours rerouted. This could be considered practice for the next few years with the destruction of the Memorial Student Center. As for listed reasoning for agreeing with the act of abortion, well frankly most are avoidable situations. Unfortunately, abortion is not limited to situations such as rape or health risks to the mother. Not all members of the government support abortion and the Constitution certainly does not. This document is a good read, I highly recommend it. I find it funny how one closed-minded person can call others the same. I'm proud to be an Aggie and thankful there are so many fellow conservatives at this school.
