In response to "Don't call me bro" on March 26:

I am sorry some people are offended by being called bro. But don't lump everyone who uses that word together. Though some people use it thinking that it makes them cool, there are those of us who grew up using it as children because we did, in fact, live on the west coast. I'm not even in a frat and I don't go tanning, and I don't wear the skin-tight muscle shirt. Instead of being ticked off that someone called you bro, accept the fact that there are some of us who are trying to be friendly. It's like saying Howdy, it's awkward to make eye contact and not say anything - so until you come up with something else for me to say, sup bro?!
