This week, the Breakaway service will focus on the sexual aspect of relationships. More specifically pornography. In the following weeks, they will focus upon homosexual relationships and various other topics.

Ben Stuart has been the executive director for Breakaway since 2005 and will be heading the discussions on sex and dating. The segment is in response to the hundreds of e-mails they have received regarding the social topics.

"We felt compelled to talk about it," he said. "I think there's a lot of confusion about gender and what roles sex plays and how to fully comprehend the design in which God made us to."

"Sex is the last physical connection after emotional, spiritual and financial. It's the final piece to fit," he said.

During these segments at Breakaway, Stuart will discuss many of these topics in depth.

"The following weeks, we will discuss pornography and the addiction of it," he said.

He acknowledged that sex and such addictions are huge struggles today and also were struggles throughout the Bible.

While Stuart said he believes the Bible says to save yourself until marriage, he acknowledges that there are mistakes and things that happen, which is what he will discuss in this segment.

Breakaway is one of the fastest-growing Christian organizations at A&M, with more than 1,000 members and more joining. It is held at 9 p.m. every Tuesday at various locations. Today's service will be at Central Baptist Church in College Station.

Stuart, Class of '98, graduated with degrees in marketing and management. Growing up, he was always religious. However, he battled with his faith his freshman year in college.

"My first year here was real rough, I felt alone. I had a lot of doubt and personal struggle," he said.
